I wrote this piece for $langin’ a few months ago and am just getting around to posting it now. My task was to share a bit about a day in the office of an English Editor at a Khmer fashion publication. While there had to be some self-imposed censorship- and mind you this was written about 3 months ago- I think it still does capture what I’ve experienced thus far.
Another peek into the pages, this month featuring some of my loveliest friend’s work, some awesome collaborations, and highlighting the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness for Cambodian women.
Here’s Ladies Magazine August 2013, a few pages to glance!
I still haven’t quite caught my breath after a week of constant go-go-go!
From the start of last week up until today, there has been a constant stream of events, happenings, decisions, and occurrences that have left me a bit shocked at all that can happen within a span of seven days.
Some excerpts from this month’s Ladies Magazine
I sit here in an extremely air conditioned room, filled with deep dark cherry wood, Egyptian cotton bedding, the sounds of garden parties filtering through the window, the faint smell of coconut rolls and green apples in the air. The soft lights illuminate my surroundings perfectly and Jesse Morrow croons from my laptop as I type. I write from Le Meridien Hotel in Siem Reap, a delightful and unexpected getaway mixed with some business and a lot of leisure.
