I love my life in Cambodia, but there are countless things I miss from back home. When I say back home, I mean the states. From Pennsylvania to California to Washington, there are people I think about every single day.
This morning, I received one of the most touching emails I’ve ever received from a dear, dear friend in the states (who just recently welcomed their newest family member into the world) after hearing of my unfortunate inability to make a trip home soon.
Regardless of where I am in the world, things like this will always make me grateful for the life I lead and the friends I can call family.
“We will eat an extra taco and cheeseburger in your honor! I’ve been meowing at Elliott so he will know how to greet you when you are able to meet. You are never far from our minds and always in our hearts.”
Love this post…so sweet in every way!
