Sheila ,my mom, got on the blogging thing long before I did, as she began her own journey in Cambodia.
She, being the topic or part of so many of my posts, deserves a bit of credit for pushing me to write- for pleasure, catharsis, knowledge, self discovery, and to vent.
Through her writing, you may catch a glimpse of the dynamic, intelligent, and supportive person she is and the ways that Cambodia has affected her- and vice versa. She’s become the “mum in Cambodia” for Ritchie and Duncan among others, and many friends who have passed through, and it never ceases to amaze me how intrepid, gracious, and committed she is to her work, friends, and family.
